Night Flight
As the rotor blades cross the path of the helicopter beacon flight begins. A gentle lift of the collective, push forward on the cyclic and we are off. Acrylic paint, scratches and marks on canvas, framed. This is my depiction of my first night solo helicopter flight.
Fishing Through the Storm
I began this piece with a penned poetic concept. Painting in layers the ideas swim about; pushing, pulling with scratches and marks.
